In my previous post, I talked about how our 2's and 3's enjoyed exploring sunflowers. My co-teacher decided to have each class make a giant sunflower for our hallway bulletin board.
She cut a large circle from black bulletin board paper and the children glued sunflower seeds to it.
She then provided yellow petals.
On one day, the 2's and 3's glued various fabric pieces to the petals.
On another day, they used brayers to roll yellow and red paint across the petals.
Each class had its own sunflower to display in the hallway.
So bright and cheerful!

What a great idea and the result is beautiful!
